Following the success of the four Crafting Participatory Tech Futures workshops, we are now seeking contributors to the post-workshops report!
The report will have three main objectives:
- Present collective imagining as a powerful method for devising better tech futures and making them possible;
- Reflect on the insights gathered during the workshops; and
- Develop recommendations for future iterations of the workshop.
As a contributor, you will be expected to adhere to our code of conduct, and to attend at least one online office hour by August 25th, which you may sign up to via the Contributor Registration Form.
Contributors can choose to focus on researching, writing or designing the report, which we will also present as a zine. All contributions will be acknowledged following the Contributor Role Taxonomy. More details will be made available to those whom complete the Contributor Registration Form.
Regarding timescales, most research and writing is expected to be done by mid-September, and the final report and zine will be published sometime in October or by mid-November.
This project relies entirely on voluntary labour. We will do our best to ensure tasks are clear and manageable. We are greatly appreciative of all contributors to this work, past, present and future!
